A conference to celebrate 125 years of the British Mycological Society (1896-2021)

庆祝BMS成立125周年, we have created a full and varied programme of presentations, 海报会议, seminars and workshops for all from the fungal biology and ecology community, with an additional day dedicated to early career mycologists. The conference is open to national and international BMS members and non-members from the broad mycology community. 

The main meeting will be preceded by the 1st BMS 研究 Student 会议, for PhD research students and recent post-doctoral scientists to present their work, hear from a selection of speakers and meet with colleagues from across the mycology sector.

All attendees will be welcomed to 克兰菲尔德 on the first evening with a barbeque and chance to meet colleagues, 旧与新.

The three-day scientific programme includes international speakers in five sessions discussing fungi in the built, 人类, industrial/technological and natural environments. 并行, colleagues from the field mycology arena will have the opportunity to gather and participate in seminars and workshops on the latest developments. All are invited to join the BMS at Woburn Safari Lodge for an evening of music and the 会议 Dinner. The final morning’s presentations will be on the theme of 'climate change and interactions with fungi', and the scientific meeting concludes with lunch.

Colleagues from the field mycology arena will have parallel sessions with speakers covering aspects of Taxonomy, 记录及保存. The practical element of the Spring Field Meeting follows, from Wednesday lunch time until Sunday midday in Mitchell Hall.

All attendees are invited to join the BMS at Woburn Safari Lodge for an evening of music, 知道奖品和会议晚宴.

Scientific posters and oral presentations- abstract submissions

The BMS 会议 2022 Organising Committee invites presentations of the latest developments and research from all areas of mycology. Please submit your abstract for consideration for a poster and/or oral presentation under one of the scientific sessions (below) using the abstract submission template. All abstract submissions will undergo review prior to acceptance.
